"You smell like an old man!"
So, once again, M. has been hitting the gym hard. Maybe too hard as it turns out! When I spoke with him briefly this afternoon, he was planning on following his nightly routine of heading over to the fitness area with Chief to run and lift weights. However, by this evening, it was evident that plans had changed. Getting progressively more stiff and sore from yesterday's workout over the course of the day, by this evening, M. was barely able to do more than "slather myself in mineral ice" and settle down to a more sedentary activity: eating Swedish brownies baked by his new mother-in-law (thanks, Mom!) Now, the verdict is out on whether or not his colleagues are also enjoying the Swedish brownies, but, uh, given the close quarters and M.'s recap of the following, it's pretty obvious that at least one of them is enjoying the smell of M.'s muscle-pain-reliever of choice. So, this evening, M. was sitting, with pan of brownies in hand when LTC T. walked through his area just long enough to take a whiff of M. and offer the above assesment of his aroma. Poor M.! Don't work too hard, there! But, hey, it's a well known fact that if the combination of Mineral Ice and baked goods won't cure what ails you, not much will! Hopefully he'll be back up to speed tomorrow after some well-deserved rest.

Glad to hear you enjoy the Swedish Brownies, M. I'm looking forward to the day I can bake them fresh for you. I didn't know they cured sore muscles, though. Molly's soooo creative!
