Mooovin'

So, this is starting to feel familiar...sort of like it was when he traveled the other direction, from Europe to Iraq, M. is able to update me periodically through the day as he starts moving around. Emails from a "found" computer here, quick phone calls while waiting in line there...and at odd hours, too! That's probably the part that feels the most familiar! But it's also the exciting part. He's tired of sleeping wearing his body armor, tired of using his Kevlar as a pillow...I just can't wait until he's finally in a place where he can lie down and go to sleep without wearing all of his gear, and hopefully, that's less than 24 hours away, if we're lucky! He's tired, but very, very excited to be on his way home.
