Seventy bottles of beer on the wall...

That's right: the official countdown has dwindled to 70 days left to go in the desert! With any luck, a few of those days might be shaved off the count as they get started in the redeployment process, but we're just hoping that it's not any longer than that figure! The excitement for this week is that M. had just found out that they will be moving...again! M.'s definetely been wearing his "Unit Movement Officer" hat a lot more often than we thought he would be! He's doing a great job of coordinating things, though, and keeping a level attitude about it, although the move has definitely thrown a bit of a wrench in their day-to-day operations. Outside of work, M.'s unit softball team is still ticking off opponents one by one from their game schedule, although with a loss this previous Saturday, I think they're okay with taking a break from that for awhile! Other than that, he's hanging in there and trying to keep cool, and eagerly looking forward to coming home in a few (hopefully!) short weeks!
