The Belly Surgery Saga...
...came to an anti-climactic end of sorts. M. was referred to Kuwait by the doctors in Iraq, who recommended surgery. Unfortunately, after many days of waiting, M. was seen by the surgeon in Kuwait...who didn't agree that surgery was the best course of treatment, and recommended physical therapy instead. Unfortunately, done in Kuwait, physical therapy would have kept M. there for several days if not weeks, which was out of the question for M. It was frustrating, but he elected to check himself out of the medical facility there, and return to Iraq immediately. He's looking into options for getting physical therapy up there, so that he can continue to work at the same time. So, we're glad that he's not in post-surgical pain, but he's a little tired from the trip...and the whole up-and-down of the saga, but handling it well. Thanks for all the thoughts and good wishes sent M.'s way...the belly is feeling better, and no surgery for now!

Glad to get an update on M...it was quite an ordeal to get another scenic tour of Kuwait...but the recovery will be more user-friendly! Take care, M...we love you! and are counting down...
Conundrums, conundrums..... That's the problem with intelligence... multiple choices, no, it doesn't go away after school. Which is best? What is the actual reality of the situation? So M got a mini R&R and a small relief from the stuff he deals with and a few more days "went away". All is not bad. <;-) B.F.
I see I need to choose "Other"
