So, I'm happy to present the latest dispatch from
my favorite amateur meterologist! That's right: Meterologist M. ("What's the temperature in Germany? That's WHAT in Celsius? How much rain have you had, anyway?") is back on the job. According to M., this week in Bagdhad has been
all about the sandstorm. He and Chief popped out to take the picture at left during the sand portion of a storm this past Monday afternoon...right before the
rain portion of the storm began! M. said that at 95 degrees, the drizzle turned the great outdoors into sauna-central: and it's only April! Or should I say it's
already April: we've been watching the counter closely, and
remembering the days when his deployment was eeking along at being 3% complete, then 4%...and as of today, we estimate that he's completed nearly 60% of his tour downrange! This week, he's keeping especially busy, as he's currently preparing for the next adventure...more details on that later this week! (Unless, of course, we have to preempt regularly scheduled programming for that all-important-late-breaking weather forecast news!) Until then, have a good week!

Congrats on making it over halfway!! I hope the weather doesn't make the last 40% seem EVEN longer!! We can't wait for you two to be back in Germany together - then my M and I can come to visit! :)
