Actual Conversations

Okay, as some of you who've lived over here may know, those of us shipping things back and forth from one Army Post Office to another do so at no charge. That being the case, I've forwarded all KINDS of stuff to M. downrange without regard for weight, or size or any of the things that you'd normally consider when mailing packages. And M.? Yes, apparently, he's sent all kinds of things back to Germany, too. 'Like what?' you might ask. Um, okay, for your consideration, here's an excerpt from a phone conversation we had earlier today:

M.: "Hey! I sent a box to you today!"
Me (kidding): "Oh great! I hope it was full of dirty underwear!"
(long pause....)
M.: "Would that be wrong?"

Glad that M.'s getting some of his funny back...you were just being funny, right, M.? M.....?

(chirp chirp, chirp chirp...)
